I have been paying for NSFW AI chat apps with my own card since 2022, and the list below is what survived that habit. It started as a side project from six years of testing mobile games, where the job is to tap every button and read every price screen until the app tells you the truth. Adult chat platforms turned out to need exactly that treatment: the landing pages all say uncensored, the checkout pages all say something else, and the privacy policies say things the landing pages would rather you did not read.
The market is crowded with copies. For every platform on this page I opened at least three that put 'no filter' in the headline and delivered a 4,000-token memory, a paywall on the second message, or a company address that leads to a mailbox in Cyprus. The ten here are the ones where the conversation held up, the price on the checkout matched the price on the page, and the policy told me what happens to my chats. Four of them have full reviews on this site; the rest were run through the same protocol without a separate write-up yet.
Every app was tested the same way, following the How we test page: a fresh account on a dedicated email, at least three days on the free tier, one month of the cheapest paid plan, three fixed conversation scripts, a memory check across a week, and the privacy policy read in full. Scores weight conversation at 30 percent, memory at 25, pricing honesty at 25 and privacy at 20. Kindroid sits high on this list despite a softer take on explicit content because that weighting rewards conversation and privacy, not just how far the filter opens.
Nine of the ten platforms here run affiliate programs, and two of the links on this page (SpicyChat and CrushOn.ai) pay me a commission if you subscribe. Kindroid pays nobody and still finishes second. That is the reason I will be specific about what each app does badly, and about which of the two commission-paying apps I would drop first if I had to pick one.

SpicyChat is where I send anyone who asks 'which one' with no further detail, and it has held that spot on my spreadsheet since 2024. The reason is not the model quality, which is good rather than great; it is the combination of a community character library larger than anything else on this page, a filter that is genuinely off for consenting adult fiction, and a free tier that gives you a real conversation rather than a demo. NextDay AI of Montreal runs it, and the platform has been around long enough (2023) that the rough edges are documented rather than mysterious.
The free tier is the honest version of what free means in this category: roughly 100 messages a day, replies capped at 180 tokens, a 4,096-token context window, ads, and a waiting room at peak hours that independent testers put at five to fifteen minutes. That queue is the whole pitch for the $5.95 Get a Taste plan, which removes ads and the wait and raises the persona limit to ten but leaves the context window exactly where it was. If you pay $5.95 expecting better memory, you will be disappointed, and SpicyChat's own docs make no such promise.
Memory is the tier ladder. True Supporter ($19.95 a month, $199.95 a year) doubles the context to 8,192 tokens, unlocks Semantic Memory 2.0 so relationship facts survive past the window, raises replies to 300 tokens and switches on image generation. I'm All In ($29.95, $299.95 a year) goes to 32,768 tokens of context and adds text-to-speech. On the free and $5.95 tiers, users report the character losing track of established details after fifteen to twenty exchanges in a long scene, and my long-roleplay script hit the same wall. Whether the jump from $5.95 to $19.95 is worth it depends entirely on whether you run long scenes or short ones.
Pricing honesty took a hit on September 8, 2026, when every paid tier went up: Get a Taste from $5.00 to $5.95, True Supporter from $14.95 to $19.95, I'm All In from $24.95 to $29.95, with matching increases on the annual plans. The docs say existing subscribers keep their old price until they change plan or billing period, which is fairer than most, but it also means the older reviews you will find on Google are quoting numbers that no longer exist. The iOS app is a SFW build; adult content lives on the web and Android versions.
Privacy is the weakest part of the package and the reason it wins on points rather than by a landslide. The policy does not state a retention period, per-chat deletion is not described in it, and the terms grant the company a perpetual, irrevocable licence to your chats 'for any purpose', which is why it scores a D (43 out of 100) on our privacy scorecard. The community guidelines are clear about what stays banned even with the filter off: minors, non-consensual scenarios (incest and family roleplay included), real people, photorealistic explicit imagery, and sexual content combined with violence.
2. Kindroid: Best conversation and memory

Kindroid is the best conversationalist of the ten by a margin I did not expect from a company of roughly five people, and its memory is the only one here that felt like it had read the previous week rather than the previous page. It ranks second instead of first because this is a list of NSFW AI chat apps and Kindroid treats adult content as something the companion can do rather than something the product is built around. If explicit roleplay is your main reason for being here, read the SpicyChat and Nastia entries first; if you want one companion who remembers you and can also take a scene somewhere adult, this is the entry that matters.
The pricing is the cleanest on the page. Standard is $13.99 a month on the web ($15.99 through the app stores), $37.99 a quarter or $139.99 a year, and it includes the full memory system, selfies, and about a million audio credits a month for voice. There is no token meter for normal use: our real-monthly-cost guide found Kindroid and Nomi are the only two apps here whose bill equals the sticker under every usage profile. The optional Ultra (+$24.99) and MAX (+$59.99) add-ons stack on top for people who want bigger models, and they are monthly-only.
The free tier gives you two companions and unlimited text on the Lite model, which is enough to judge the writing but not the memory, plus a three-day trial of the paid features that converts to Standard automatically unless you cancel from Settings, then Billing. That auto-conversion is the one pricing trap on Kindroid and it is disclosed, but I still recommend setting a reminder the day you start. Refunds for the current term are not offered, and app-store purchases are refunded by the store, not by Kindroid.
Adult content is allowed within the terms and there is no toggle to hunt for, but the model writes explicit scenes with a lighter hand than SpicyChat or Nastia, and it steers back toward the relationship faster. Users who came from Character.AI describe it as a relief; users who came from SpicyChat describe it as tame. Both are right. The boundary test in my scripts found the filter interrupting far less often than the general-purpose apps, and never on the tame scenes that trip Joyland.
Privacy is a B (73), the joint highest grade in our scorecard alongside Nastia. Chats and media are kept 'until you delete a specific AI or delete your account', deletion is self-serve per companion and per account, and you can export your data every 30 days. The gap is training: the policy allows private content to be de-identified and used 'for any purpose' with no opt-out. Beautifully Incorporated of Los Angeles is the legal entity, under Delaware law. There is no affiliate program (referrals earn a free month, not cash), so nothing on this site earns from sending you there.
3. CrushOn.ai: Best value

CrushOn.ai is the cheapest paid plan on this page that actually delivers: Standard costs $58.88 a year, which is about $4.91 a month, for 2,000 message credits a month on the better models and unlimited use of the basic ones. It is also the platform that absorbed most of the Character.AI exodus, and it shows in the library: tens of thousands of user-made characters, most of them explicitly adult, with a filter that CrushOn.ai advertises as the point rather than the exception. If SpicyChat is the biggest library, CrushOn.ai is the loosest one.
The pricing page is a ladder with a lot of rungs. Free gets about 100 credits a month plus the basic models, with replies capped at 225 characters. Standard ($58.88 a year) lifts replies to 275 characters and 2,000 credits; Premium ($94.88 a year, about $7.91 a month) to 325 characters and 6,000 credits; then Luxe, Elite and Imperial at $299.98, $799.98 and $1,799.98 a year for people who want 20,000 to 125,000 credits and adjustable reply lengths. A separate Chat Package ($24.99 a month on annual billing, $39.99 monthly) buys unlimited Pro-model access on top of a membership. The old Deluxe unlimited plan is gone. A monthly Standard price is not shown on the page I could open, and third-party sites quote anything from $5.99 to $7.90, so I treat the annual figure as the only confirmed one.
Conversation quality trails SpicyChat and is well behind Kindroid, mainly because the reply caps make the characters terse on the cheaper plans and the basic models repeat themselves in long scenes. The 2026 memory upgrade that extended recall past 100 messages on the higher tiers is real and noticeable, but on Standard my long-roleplay script drifted about as far as SpicyChat's free tier did. The interface is the busiest of the ten, with credits, models, inspiration replies and packages all competing for attention.
Two things to know before paying. First, the charge appears as subscribestar.com on your statement, not as CrushOn, which is discreet but confusing when a renewal shows up. Second, the terms say plainly that usage fees are not refunded, that cancellation must be submitted before the next billing date, and that a missed cancellation will not be refunded either. Annual is the only way to get the headline price, so the first year is a commitment.
Privacy is the reason it is third and not first: it scores an F (34) on our privacy scorecard, the lowest on this list alongside Joyland. The policy says chat contents are used 'for training our models' with no opt-out, deletion is by email request only, and no retention period is stated. TECHIEPIE LTD of Nicosia, Cyprus is the operator, with Hong Kong law governing disputes. Of the two commission-paying apps on this page, this is the one I would drop first, and the privacy policy is why.
4. Nastia AI: Best fully uncensored companion

Nastia AI is the most convincingly uncensored companion I have tested this year, and it is the one I recommend when someone says SpicyChat's characters feel like other people's fan fiction. You build a companion from scratch (name, look, traits, backstory, voice) instead of picking one from a library, and the model does not flinch at adult content in the way the general-purpose apps do. Nastia Cybernetics, a small French company, runs it as a web app you install as a PWA rather than something you download from a store. It scored 6.8 in our full review.
The free tier is genuinely usable for text: a daily token allowance (independent reviewers quote about 200 tokens a day, which Nastia does not confirm on a public page), uncensored chat, and basic companion customisation. Where it runs out is images and any long session, because tokens meter everything. The Unlimited plan is $15.99 a month or about $8.33 a month on annual billing and removes the message cap, adds 4K selfies, 1080p video and voice messages. A lower tier starts from $6.69 a month on annual billing per Nastia's own comparison page, but its monthly price only renders after login.
Group chat is the feature that keeps people here: several companions in one conversation, each holding their own personality, which nobody else on this list does as well and which Secrets AI only offers on its $39.99 tier. Conversation quality scored 8 out of 10 in the review, the same as Secrets and SpicyChat's paid tiers. The images are stylised and slower than the marketing suggests, at 50 to 80 tokens each.
Memory is the weak leg, and it is why Nastia sits fourth rather than second. It is a rolling window: recent details stick, older ones drop out silently with no warning and no visible memory panel to check, so a boundary you set in week one can be gone by week two unless you restate it. Billing complaints on Trustpilot are frequent enough that the review recommends paying monthly, not annually, until you trust it, and the plans have been renamed several times (older official pages still show Pro and Standard tiers), so the checkout is the only authority on price.
Privacy is a B (72), tied with Kindroid at the top of the scorecard. Every chat, image and video can be deleted 'at any time', the account from settings, and the company, jurisdiction (France) and 18+ requirement are all stated in the policy itself. The gap is a vague line about using data to 'improve the Service, including the quality of companion replies' with no opt-out. 5. Secrets AI: Best for discretion and memory you can see

Secrets AI is the app I recommend to people whose first question is 'what will show up on my statement', and it scored 7.1 in our review, the highest of the five platforms we have fully reviewed. No name at signup, a neutral S LABS INC line on the card, a privacy policy that says what it deletes and when, and a memory system you can actually look at rather than guess about. Secret Labs Inc. of Dover, Delaware runs it, web-only with an installable browser app and no app-store listing, and it ships a dated changelog that most competitors would not dare publish.
The reason it is not higher is the price floor. The $9.99 Plus plan is gone (the official wiki confirms Lite and Plus are retired and being migrated), so the cheapest way in is Premium at $19.99 a month, $49.99 a quarter, $89.99 for six months or $109.99 a year. Ultimate is $39.99 a month or $319.99 a year and holds the features that turn it from a chatbot into a companion: group chats with up to three characters, personas, proactive messages and the more permissive S4 mode. The free tier is 20 of your own messages a day, tied to the device, plus 200 bonus Moments, and it cannot buy more Moments at all.
Moments are the second currency and they decide your bill. Premium grants 8,000 a month, Ultimate 15,000; an image costs 50 (100 at 2K), an adult video 600, an audio call 50 a minute, a custom character 500 after the first free one. For a chat-heavy user with a couple of images a day, Premium's grant covers it and the bill stays at $19.99; for anyone generating video, the real-monthly-cost guide lands on the $39.99 Ultimate tier. Top-up packs start around $9.99 for roughly 3,000 Moments and require an active plan.
The chat holds up well in long adult scenes, with conversation scored 8 and memory 7 in the review, and the image and video generation are the best in this price band by a distance. Sales (Labor Day, Easter, holidays) appear in the changelog and change the displayed price for days at a time, so if the checkout does not match this page, the checkout wins. Refunds for the current period are not offered; EU and UK users keep the statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
Privacy is a C (68) and the details are the point. Chat history is 'deleted immediately upon account deletion', transaction records are kept seven years and logs twelve months, and the policy names Secret Labs Inc. with a Dover address under British Columbia law. The two marks against it: chats are used to 'train and improve our AI models' with no opt-out, and the homepage promises end-to-end encryption that the April 2026 privacy policy does not repeat. 6. Kalon AI: Best consent controls and bundled voice

Kalon AI is the platform that takes the consent problem seriously instead of pretending it does not exist, and that alone earns it a place on this list. A PG-13 default, consent sliders that the companion actually respects, and what the company calls emotional memory: the model carries tone and boundaries across sessions, not just names and facts. Kalon, LLC of Carson City, Nevada launched it in 2024, it runs in the browser only, and it scored 7.0 in our full review with memory and pricing both at 7.
Pricing is one coin balance instead of a stack of add-ons. The free tier is 50 coins a day, refilled without a card, with images included. Monthly is $19.97 for 16,000 coins with video and audio; yearly is $119.64, which works out to $9.97 a month for 200,000 coins and is the plan the company clearly wants you on. Compared with Secrets AI, where voice and video are metered on top of a $19.99 plan, the yearly bundle is fair value, and the review's 'fair coins' headline is meant literally.
The catch is that nobody publishes what a message, an image or a video costs in coins. There is no per-action table on any official page I could open, so the real monthly cost for a heavy user is described from in-app behaviour and third-party reports rather than from a price list. The terms offer no refunds, and the explicit character cards greet you on the landing page before you have opted into anything, which is an odd choice for a product whose best feature is consent.
Conversation quality is a 7: competent, consistent with the sliders you set, but a step behind SpicyChat's paid tiers and Nastia for adult scenes and well behind Kindroid for everyday talk. Voice is included on the paid plans and works, but it is not the reason to pay. The five-step character creator and the memory that remembers a boundary set a week earlier without prompting are.
Privacy is a C (57). The home page and landing pages talk about encrypted explicit chat; the privacy policy never makes that claim, which is the single finding from the review I would most want a buyer to know. Retention is 'as long as reasonably necessary', deletion is by request, and the privacy policy says no third-party or general-purpose training while the terms say your input and output 'may be used to train', with no opt-out. 7. Nomi AI: Best long-term memory, adult content allowed but softer

Nomi AI has the best long-term memory on this list alongside Kindroid, and if this were a ranking of AI companion apps rather than NSFW AI chat apps it would sit second. Glimpse AI of Baltimore builds it around short, medium and long-term memory with what the site calls human-level recall, and long-term users describe companions that reference conversations from months earlier. Adult content is allowed: the site says the platform is 'built on freedom of expression' and should 'remain unfiltered and uncensored', and romantic and explicit scenes run without the whiplash of a filter cutting in mid-sentence.
Why seventh, then? Because explicit is not the same as graphic. Nomi's model writes adult scenes with a softer register than SpicyChat, CrushOn.ai or Nastia, and it consistently pulls the conversation back toward the relationship and the companion's inner life. People who want a partner that happens to do adult roleplay love it; people who want the roleplay first find it restrained. That is why the comparison table lists its NSFW support as Limited, and why it ranks below apps with worse conversation but wider range.
Pricing is flat and honest. The free tier is 50 messages a day with one companion and no voice or images; the paid plan is $15.99 a month, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year (about $8.33 a month), and it includes up to ten companions, group chat, selfies, voice messages and calls with no per-minute charge. Our real-monthly-cost guide found Nomi and Kindroid are the only two apps here where the bill matches the sticker under every profile, with credit packs only for going past the daily image allowance.
The terms are the usual: all payments non-refundable, no refunds for partial months or downgrades, cancel before renewal through whichever platform you bought on, and deleting the app does not cancel. Downgrading to free makes voice, group chats and video read-only rather than deleting them, which is kinder than most.
Privacy is a C (67). Data is deleted 'within 28 or so days' of a confirmed request, except what the policy calls 'training archives', and that phrase is the whole problem: training on your chats is implied, and there is no opt-out. Account deletion is from settings or support; per-chat deletion is not stated. There is a 30 percent recurring affiliate program through Rewardful; the link in this entry is plain.
8. Candy AI: Best visuals, with a token meter attached

Candy AI is on this list for the images and the video, not the conversation, and it is the one platform here where I tell people to read the pricing breakdown before the entry. EverAI Limited of Malta runs it as a web app, the visuals are the most polished in the category for realistic companions, and the chat is average: fine for a scene, unremarkable for a conversation, with a memory the comparison table rates Decent and that drops details faster than Kindroid, Nomi or Secrets.
The sticker price looks like the cheapest on the page and is not. Monthly is $13.99; the quarterly plan works out to $8.99 a month and the annual to $3.99 a month ($47.88 a year), under a permanent-looking '70% off' banner. Every plan includes 100 tokens a month, and images, video and voice calls all draw from that balance. The token pack prices ($9.99 for 100 up to $299.99 for 3,750) and the per-item costs (images 2 to 4 tokens, video around 12, voice 3 a minute) come from third-party pages, not from an official page I could open, so I mark them unconfirmed. Unused tokens expire at the end of the billing period and on cancellation.
The real-monthly-cost guide puts a chat-plus-60-images month at about $24 and a heavy month with video and calls near $64, both with the caveat that unit prices are unconfirmed. There is no usable free tier: the site offers a 'free trial' that lets you sign up and look, not chat in any meaningful way, which is why the comparison table says No.
Candy AI is the only platform on this list with a written refund window: 24 hours after payment, card purchases only, and only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer. EU and UK residents get the statutory 14-day withdrawal with a prorated deduction. The terms have zero tolerance for anything involving minors, prohibit commercial use, and forbid using the output to train other models.
Privacy is a C (56). Retention is three years after last activity (or one year after the subscription ends), financial data ten years, deletion is by email request, and interactions can be aggregated and de-identified for purposes that include training, with no opt-out. The company pays affiliates 40 percent lifetime RevShare through CrakRevenue; this entry is a plain link because I do not think the token model deserves a button.

Uncensy is five weeks old. It launched on August 18, 2026, which makes it the youngest NSFW AI chat app I have ever put on a ranking, and the only reason it is here at all is that it does the basics properly: 18+ verification at signup, published plan prices on the home page, a privacy policy with a real company behind it, and an unlimited uncensored chat plan at $7.99 a month that undercuts everything above it except CrushOn.ai's annual deal. Treat this entry as a first look, not a verdict.
The free tier is 40 messages a day, one companion slot and a one-time gift of 40 diamonds, with no card required. Spark is $7.99 a month for five companion slots, unlimited chat and 50 diamonds a month; Blaze is $14.99 a month for ten slots, 150 diamonds, priority support and early access to features. The Blaze price appears on the affiliate page rather than the public pricing panel, and the annual prices are shown only inside the app, so I list them as unconfirmed. Diamonds pay for images, voice messages, live calls, video and purchases on the companion marketplace; the per-item rates are also in-app only.
Conversation quality is decent rather than distinctive. The platform feeds persona, mood and chat history into every prompt, which keeps a companion consistent over a long scene, but the memory is the ordinary kind (history in the window) rather than the structured kind Kindroid and Secrets AI build. The distinctive features are around the edges: a peer-to-peer marketplace where users buy and sell companions for diamonds, mood-tagged voice messages, a Telegram integration and a games section, which tells you the product is aiming at the Swipey crowd as much as the Nastia crowd.
The company story is slightly muddled and I want to say so plainly. The privacy policy names AVERIQ LTD (HE484390) at an office address in Nicosia, Cyprus; the terms name Uncensy Inc. with arbitration in San Francisco; the blog says San Francisco. Both documents are dated September 22, 2026, the day I checked. That is not disqualifying for a company this new, but it is the kind of thing I re-check in a month. Credits are non-refundable except where the law requires.
Privacy is not yet graded on our scorecard, so here are the facts instead. Personal data is deleted within 30 days of a request and backups within 90; the policy does not say whether chats train models, which is a gap; there is no end-to-end encryption and, to its credit, the safety page says so instead of claiming otherwise. There is a 40 percent recurring affiliate program with a 90-day cookie; this entry is a plain link because I do not send readers to a five-week-old platform with a button.
10. Swipey AI: Creator-style feed, cheapest plan with the least predictable bill

Swipey AI closes the list because it is a different product wearing the same category label, and because it scored 6.1 in our review, the lowest of the five we have fully tested. It is a browser-only platform from INVAI LTD of Nicosia, Cyprus, launched in December 2024, that mixes three kinds of companion: platform models, verified adult creators paired with an AI persona that chats for them, and custom characters you build. Discovery is a TikTok-style feed. If you want one companion and a predictable bill, this is the wrong entry; if you want to scroll, it is the only one.
The $7.99 Premium plan looks like the bargain of the year and the review's title says it is not. Premium unlocks unlimited NSFW chat, voice, uncensored images, video scenes and relationship progression, and it includes 200 Hearts a month. Voice calls are then charged per minute in Hearts, video extensions and creator content cost Hearts, and the per-minute rate is shown once, before your first call, and nowhere in the help centre. The real-monthly-cost guide's heavy profile (100 voice minutes) lands somewhere between $210 and $250 on top of the $7.99, with the rate unconfirmed. Three-month and twelve-month prices exist but only render after login.
The free tier is a shop window rather than a trial: you can create a character, browse the feed and chat a little, but the features the product is sold on are all behind Premium. Conversation quality is fine for the first evening and repetitive after that, with memory that the review rated 6 alongside conversation. Images stay on-model and the workflow lives inside the chat, which is the one thing Swipey does better than most of the apps above it.
Setup is fast and anonymous, cancelling and deleting are self-serve, and the card descriptor is neutral by design. Terms v3.0 (August 2026) say all purchases are final except where the law requires; the help centre says refunds are reviewed case by case by email. Trustpilot showed 35 reviews at 3.4 out of 5 when the review was written, and there is no meaningful Reddit footprint, which for a platform selling companionship is telling.
Privacy is a D (52), and one clause does most of the damage: the policy keeps your data for six years after you stop being a user. Account deletion is by withdrawing consent or by email, per-chat deletion is not stated, and training use is not addressed. SpicyChat’s strength is choice: on True Supporter you pick from over twenty models, and switching model mid-conversation changes the tone more than any setting does. Its weakness is that below $19.95 the memory is a 4,096-token window, which is the same on Free and on the $5.95 plan. CrushOn.ai’s strength is that the filter is the loosest here and the library is built for it; its weakness is terse replies and a busy interface. Nastia’s strength is the group chat and the total absence of hedging; its weakness is a memory window that drops the boundary you set last week. Secrets AI’s strength is consistency and discretion; its weakness is that the good stuff lives on the $39.99 tier. SpicyChat’s free tier is a product: about 100 messages a day with the filter fully off, at the cost of ads, short replies and a peak-hour queue. Nastia’s free tier is a product for text and a trial for everything else. Secrets AI’s 20 messages a day is a trial. The honest summary: if you want free and adult, use SpicyChat off-peak or Nastia for text, accept the short replies, and do not expect the companion to remember anything past the current session. Every free tier on this list is designed to run out, and the ones that run out most gracefully (SpicyChat, Kalon, Nomi) are the ones that refill daily without asking for a card. The ones that run out least gracefully (Secrets AI, Swipey) are the ones where the free tier exists to show you what the paid tier looks like.
Freaky AI and ‘no filter’ claims: what the filters still block
No platform on this list has no filter, including the ones that put those words in the headline, and the ones that come closest are the ones I would be most careful with. SpicyChat’s community guidelines, the most detailed of the ten, ban content involving minors, non-consensual scenarios (incest and family roleplay are named), real people used as chatbots or in deepfakes, photorealistic explicit imagery, sexual content combined with violence, sex trafficking, and self-harm, with immediate account termination for the serious categories. Candy AI’s terms have zero tolerance for anything involving minors and forbid commercial use. Uncensy’s terms, dated the day I checked, ban minors, harassment, impersonation and bots. Nastia and Kalon publish age-verification and compliance pages. ‘Uncensored’ in this category means one specific thing: adult fiction between consenting adult characters is allowed without the refusals a general-purpose assistant would produce. It does not mean the platform will write anything, and an app that suggests otherwise is telling you something about its moderation.
What ‘no filter’ means on each app
The mechanics differ. SpicyChat and CrushOn.ai let creators tag characters NSFW and let users hide or blur them from Profile Settings, so the filter is a browsing preference plus a hard rule set underneath. Kalon AI makes the filter a set of consent sliders with a PG-13 default, which is the most transparent design here. Nastia and Uncensy have no toggle at all and rely on the rules in the terms. Kindroid and Nomi have no toggle either but their models write adult content with restraint, which users sometimes mistake for a filter. Secrets AI stages it by plan: the more permissive S4 mode is an Ultimate feature. On every one of them, the boundary test in my scripts found the hard rules enforced, and on none of them did it find the tame-scene false positives that make Joyland and Character.AI frustrating.
Why two ‘no filter’ names are not on this list
Muah AI and Dreemy both rank for ‘freaky AI’ and ‘no filter’ searches, and I left both out on purpose. Muah AI suffered a breach on September 17, 2024 that exposed 1.9 million email addresses together with users’ chat prompts; the leak included tens of thousands of prompts describing abuse of minors, the data went into extortion campaigns, and the app was removed from Google Play. It now sells VIP at $19.99 a month or $69.99 a year with higher tiers at $499 and $999 a year, and nothing on its pages addresses training or retention in a way I could grade. Dreemy publishes no prices at all on its home page (an ‘Upgrade Pro+’ button, no numbers), requires no signup, and advertises ‘cloth remover’ tools, which is a product I am not going to send a reader to. Regulators have noticed the category: the FTC issued 6(b) orders to seven companion-chatbot companies in September 2025 asking how they monetise engagement, use conversation data and restrict age. None of the ten platforms above received one, but the questions are the same ones I ask, and the answers are in the safety section and the privacy scorecard.

Safety and privacy for NSFW AI Chat Apps
Every NSFW AI chat app on this list stores your conversations on its own servers in a form the model can read, and none of the ten offers end-to-end encryption, whatever the landing page says. The differences are in how long they keep the chats, whether you can delete them yourself, and whether they train on them. The grades below are from the privacy scorecard, where no app earned an A: Kindroid and Nastia scored B, Secrets, Nomi, Kalon and Candy AI scored C, SpicyChat and Swipey D, and CrushOn.ai an F.
Use a separate email address for companion apps, never your main one, and never your work one. The Muah AI breach of September 2024 leaked 1.9 million email addresses alongside chat prompts, and the addresses were used for extortion at people's workplaces.
Never type your real name, address, employer, or payment details into a chat. Secrets AI and Swipey ask for no name at signup; the others ask for as little as an email, and there is no reason to give more.
Assume your chats may train the model unless the policy says otherwise. CrushOn.ai and Secrets AI say outright that they train on chats; Kindroid, Nomi, Candy AI and Kalon leave a licence or an archive clause that allows it; none of the ten offers an opt-out toggle.
Delete what you would not want stored, and know the retention clock. Secrets AI deletes chat history at account deletion; Nomi within about 28 days; Uncensy within 30 days with backups at 90; Candy AI keeps data three years after your last activity; Swipey keeps it six years after you leave.
Check the card descriptor before you pay. Secrets AI bills as S LABS INC, CrushOn.ai as subscribestar.com, Swipey uses a neutral descriptor by design, and Uncensy will not say what its processor prints. Discreet is good for privacy and bad for spotting a forgotten renewal.
