The terms say the service is hosted in the United States and that by using it you consent to your data being processed there, and the policy names the categories of providers who see it: cloud hosting and storage, AI infrastructure, payment processing, age assurance, content safety, email, analytics and advertising. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

What Nastia AI collects and how long it keeps it

The policy lists your companions, chats, memories, voice messages, custom voice samples and every image and video you generate, together with the prompts and settings used. Payments go through processors and Nastia AI says it never receives or stores your full card number. Age checks, where a country’s law requires one, are run by a specialist provider; Nastia AI states it receives only the result, not your ID document or face images, and the help article repeats that promise in plainer words. Retention is “while your account is open”, with three exceptions worth knowing: payment records for as long as tax law demands, records of rule violations including the prompts and chats of accounts that broke the rules for up to seven years, and backups that are overwritten on a regular cycle rather than purged on demand.

Deleting on Nastia AI is better than average. Individual chats, images and videos can be removed any time, a single companion can be deleted with all its memories and media, and account deletion takes effect immediately with no grace period. Two catches: you cannot delete the account while a subscription is active, so cancel first, and there is no one-click export of everything, only a per-chat download of conversation history. The gap that matters is model training. The policy says data is used “to maintain and improve the Service, including the quality of companion replies and our safety systems”, and the terms grant a licence to process your content to “operate, provide, secure and improve” the services. What no official page publishes is a price list per action, which is why three independent reviews I read quote three different per-image costs. The number that matters is the one the app shows you before you confirm, so look at it.

The image generator on Nastia AI

Images arrive two ways: you ask the companion for a selfie inside the chat, or you open the standalone generator at the Images icon, which the help centre describes as the place to write your own prompts, set face and body references, pick styles, upscale, use preset scene ideas and adjust negative prompts and aspect ratios. Uploads are disabled by policy, which is a compliance decision, and prompts naming public figures are refused. Video is image-to-video or text-to-video and lives on paid plans only. Nastia AI’s memory is a rolling context window plus a notes system, and that sentence explains most of the complaints about it. Recent messages, the companion’s backstory and anything saved as a memory or note are always in view. Older chat falls out of view as new messages push it along. Independent testers put the window at somewhere around forty to fifty messages, and one older official comparison page still promised “up to two weeks” of memory that the current site no longer states. When the window runs out, nothing announces it. The companion is simply unaware of what it said three days ago, which users experience as a reset and describe on Trustpilot as the companion forgetting them every day.

How to make Nastia AI remember

The workaround is to treat the notes as the memory and the chat as the moment. Anything that must persist, your name, your job, the fact that the companion knows Bruno and is suspicious of Miso, goes into the backstory or the saved memories, where the model reads it every turn. Used that way, Nastia AI holds a relationship together well: the tone, the running jokes you wrote down, the preferences you stated in the builder all stay. Left to the chat alone, it does not. The companion builder is the best part of Nastia AI. Independent guides say the advanced traits are a paid feature; the free build is still detailed enough to get a distinctive character. Slot counts are where the site contradicts itself. The Free plan is described as one companion on one official page and two on the checkout that reviewers quote; the Unlimited plan card says “multiple companions”, reviewers say five. Whatever the current number, deleting a companion is permanent and removes its chats, memories and media, so do not clear a slot casually. Group chat, available on paid plans, lets several of those companions share one conversation and react to each other, and it is the reason to build more than one.

Nastia AI community and support

Nastia AI’s community lives on an official Discord and a subreddit, both linked from the site footer, and support is an email address plus those channels; there is no live chat and no ticketing system. The help centre is small, six articles at the time of writing covering billing and renewal, cancellation, account deletion, age verification, deleting a companion and the image generator, and it is honest about what the product does. It tells you plainly that you can pause or switch plans, downgrade instead of cancelling, and that there is no full export. What it does not do is answer the refund question it lists, or publish token costs.

Support speed and the billing pattern

Support response is the weakest link, and it is fair to say so because users keep saying it. The Trustpilot page for nastia.ai carries a 2.2 rating on seventeen reviews with seventy percent at one star, and while that is a tiny sample skewed toward the angry, the themes repeat across independent reviews and the subreddit: an annual charge where a monthly one was expected, replies from support that take days or never come, and technical complaints about slow loading and crashes on the image side. The terms make refunds an exception rather than a right, all purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires it or a technical error blocked delivery, and cancellation from the Membership page only stops future charges. If you lose access, the help centre asks you to email the last four digits of the card, the cardholder name, the charge amount and the date, which tells you how manual the process is. My advice stands: pay monthly through Apple Pay or Google Pay if you can, read the plan card carefully for the words “billed yearly”, and cancel from Danger Zone the moment you decide to leave.

The clone-app problem

One more thing a Nastia AI user needs to know. Nastia AI is not in the App Store or Google Play; it made that choice deliberately so that store rules do not censor it, and its install page walks you through Safari’s Add to Home Screen on iPhone and the browser install on Android and desktop.
